My son who's 5 has 3 fire-bellied toads.
We moved a few weeks back into a new house and he's now got them in his room. The only think is the room is quite dark and we now have problem seeing the toads.

I want to get a lamp so we can see them, but I don't no which bulb to get. Can anyone help??
They just a pump to keep the water moving. No heater. Some poeple say have a heater, some say don't need one.
They are in one of them 'Exo Terra Flexarium'

Any advice would be great.

With my firebellys I use a strip light and a spot light.

With your 'Exo Terra Flexarium' you could use...

In our water area we use a undergravel filter,we do not heat the water as we use a strip light and a spot light so that keeps the enclosure warm enough

If you post a picture of your enclosure,we would be able to advise you further

Definately no heating in the water they like to be cool, they will bask under a light as long as its just a low wattage light, but they need to be able to cool off.

Oh just to let you know I've moved toads downstairs now and got a daylight bulb. It kicks out a little bit of heat and they are doing and feeding a lot better since I got the bulb.
