I recently bought a Exo Terra Terrarium 30x30x40 for one of pinktoes.

At the moment it's empty due to my pinktoe being to small.

Looking for ideas to make it look natural as the background i got with it look plain light gray so wondering is there anything i could use to make it look more natural such painting it as iv'e read you can do this and use grout to give it a look of crevises and so on as it's going to be a project of mine & my daughter so if anyone knows of anything i can use that is safe for a pinktoe and a list of any live plants also have to be safe mail me.

Hi there jen.
Not sure if you have started out your exo terra glass tank set up yet???
but i lled though illed give you an insight in to my set ups on them,
i use the 30x30x30, and there all for ground dewling t's,
i remove the background due to the spiders being able to climb this more easily then the glass and getting stuck on the mesh lid,
i use a normal spagnum moss peat around 1-2 inches think in 3 coners of the tank and them an 1-2 inch think covering of oven baked peat,
for the plants im using mostly dwarf ferns which are cheap as chips and a few other plants which i am un sure of there names, for you set up, i would still use a fern at the bottom of the tank but i would also use ivy, as the will climb around and logs or branches that you have,
hope this helps?????
heres a pic to give you an idea.
