Hi, my name is Tiff. I have two lovely female Sugar Gliders called Bubble and Bonnie! I would also love a Yemen Chameleon or a Crested Gecko - maybe one day!
I browse the forum quite often - you all seem really nice! Also 'Hi!' to Lou and Neil (and Emily)!

Wow, that is gorgeous! Are they hard to keep? I'd love one of those.

Welcome to the forum They're a bit like reptiles really - they need a diet that its higher in calcium than phosphorus, and quite a bit of protein. If they don't get enough calcium they can suffer from bone density problems like reptiles can. They don't need any specific housing - mine live in a tall chipmunk cage with lots of toys and rope branches. Dan13 wrote: Awesome! It reminds me of a bat, i like bats Welcome
I can see the likeness to bats in a way, but they don't actually fly and flap their arms - they glide from a high place using their gliding membranes, just like flying squirrels do.

I got them from a breeder near London. Click HERE for his website!
I can handle them - they are very sweet but they can bite too if you're not careful!! Trouble is that they tend to scent mark you when you get them out, and you can't house train them. They also make a 'crabbing' noise when scared as Lou and Neil found out when I took them into the shop to show them!! The gliders wouldn't let me touch them or anything - they certainly weren't very cute that day!

I'm very sorry that they behaved so badly! Didn't think you'd still want one after their performance!! They look sooo cute, but it shows that appearances can be very deceptive.
