I voted Beardies because I think they are the best all round to keep as a pet.

Chameleons are great to look at, but they do not like being handled and they are more difficult to keep, needing dripping water etc, which creates a very humid atmosphere which means cleanliness is paramount or fungus will soom grow.

I think Savannah Monitors are awesome, but I would not currently want to keep one.

Once the viv is set up, all that is required for a Beardie is feed once a day (for adult, twice for babies) and change water every couple of days, spot clean up, as soon as faeces is seen, and once a week we remove all objects, hoover and wipe down, then wipe over with damp cloth then with reptile friendly disinfectant. Other than that all you have to do is enjoy your Beardie. They love company and human contact.
