Went to a forest today to see whats about and finally came across an Adder, ive been wanting to find one of these for sooo long now!
Although it was actually mum who spotted it

Here's lots of pics of the little beauty!
In some of the pics he has an ant on his back, that shows just how small he is.

Also came across something VERY strange.
A dead snake, but it was big, looked very much like a Burmese from the few marking left on the body. I got pics but don't think people will appreciate them (bit sick)

Il send you both the pics

They're not life threatening dangerous but they are venomous and would probably make you quite sick. I think they're only life threatening to young children and old people. I know some dogs can be in trouble if bitten.
I didn't dare touch it or pick it up, just used a stick to move it to the path, take pics then move it back. Its really not worth touching one.

Wow, i've not seen one before, and I thought they were darker, not so brown as that.

Weird about the other snake, esp after reading in the county press about the one that was found last week or whenever it was!
