Bonnie (one of my Sugar Gliders) passed away yesterday. She died on her 4th birthday. Bubble is having extra cuddles as she keeps looking for her sister - that makes me sad knowing that she's sad too. My signature photo is of Bonnie when I first got her. I will be replacing this with a photo of Lily the Chameleon over the weekend.

Sorry to hear that :(
Do you know what she died of? Or do they not have a very long life span?

Think it was her heart - she was fine the day before and eating as usual. Unfortunately there is a 'fat' gene somewhere in her family that her older brother had too (he's called Sumo Sam!) She was a LOT bigger than Bubble. They can live for about 10 years, but they only seem to make it to about 4 or 5 for some reason. My friend's gliders only lived to that age too, and so did my first glider, Ziggy. However, Bubble was 4 in February, and another of her 'family' is 4 also - we've not heard of many older than 5.
