Found this little guy down my garden today.
Slow Worm Anguis fragilis





When i took him back to release him i found three more.

Two here.


And one alone.


Hopefully start spotting some babies soon, found LOADS last year!

They're cool! We get them in our garden too - didn't see any last year though. We used to have one that lived in a hole in the rockery. We named him Sid! Laughing Those are great pics - your camera must be really good to get such clear close-ups!

We found two in my mum's garden yesterday, much to her disgust lol Laughing , both the kids had a hold, then we released them. Hope to find some babies now.

May set up a nature area in our garden, any tips on specific things to do to attract different creatures?

They like a very over grown garden Laughing

Ive put down some of that roofin stuff down in the garden and they love it. Theres also a frog that always hides under it. I usually find a few toads under there aswell but they haven't made an appearence yet.
