Hi there I am new to you and want to say hello and would like to say thanks as well to Neil who has been a great support to me in the past. Sadly i have lost a leopard gecko to sand impaction last Sunday- the vet did all he could but being a novice( me not the vet) I took the word of the breeder who said it wasn't impaction and the fact that Junior passed no toilet was because he was eating it most likely. I contacted the vet too late because I thought I was doing the right thing by being in touch so often with the breeder who was supposed to be an expert and not once did he suggest impaction and to get Junior to the vets. I do hope any one in the St Austell area will take heed of my sad experience I have now got a new baby gecko ( not from the same breeder and this one is looking good I took my first gecko off the sand after Neil said watch in case he may eat it but by this time he already had the impaction from where I bought it Sorry if this is a bit long but I still feel sad at the loss of this greature Regards from Ros
